Premiere: Watch Lyric Video for "Surrender" by US Prog Death Metal Act LUNAR

Sacramento-based progressive metal project Lunar, founded by drummer and songwriter Alex Bosson, are launching a new lyric video. The video designed by Scott Rudd is for the song “Surrender,” taken from the latest album “Eidolon” out now via Divebomb Records.

Bosson commented: “‘Surrender’ is the final single from the latest album ‘Eidolon.’ This is probably the heaviest track that we have ever done. Definitely one for the fans of the death metal side of Lunar. This lyric video was, once again, done by the amazing Scott Rudd (who has done videos for Opeth, Fallujah, Rings of Saturn, amongst many others). We hope you all enjoy it!

Talking previously about Eidolon, Bosson stated: “This album was a struggle to do, in so many ways, but mostly with persevering after the death of my bandmate and good friend Ryan Erwin. But I think he would be proud of where this has gone. I am proud of what I have come up with for this album and what all the other musicians involved have contributed. There is a long list of incredible guest musicians on this album that I never dreamed I would get to work with and I’m truly honored to have done so! In my opinion, this album is heavier and tighter than the 2017’s ‘Theogony’ and I hope the fans will like it as much as I do.
