Interview: Sinnrs

Sinnrs, symphonic extreme metal duo from Denmark, spoke for Metal Horizons about their debut album "Profound" which was released earlier this year.

Alright, first thing is first. Before we dive into all the music stuff, how's life?

Fine thanksCan't complain

Speaking of new music, you have an album. What can people expect from “Profound”?

They can expect an albu, where they will keep finding new things in the music every time they listen to it. We have put a lot of details into thisalbum and a lot of thought how all the different instruments compliment each other.

What was it like working on the album?

It came as a very natural process. Nero came up with some new material last summer. It was different than what we used to do, but it soundedgreat, so we got so hooked on working with this new material

Are there any touring plans in support to “Profound”?

We are definitely planning on playing gigs in the near future. Hit us up.

While we are on the subject of touring, what countries would you love to tour?

It's not a matter of which country... We would like to play and perform where its possible and to show what our music in live experience can andwill do for the audience

Who and what inspires you the most?

All and nothing inspire us. I (Nero) drew my inspiration from movie composers mostly. I think there's a lot of talented artists who are really doing a tremendous job with the work on movie themes. And some times I drew my inspiration from books from people who in deed has been blessedwith the power of words.

What other genres of music do you listen to? Have any of the other genres you listen to had any impact on your playing?

Absolutely. We listen to a great diversity of music.

I really appreciate you giving us your time today. Is there anything else you would like to tell us and the fans before we wrap things up?

Check out "Profound," support/like us on FB. Let us know what you think. Thanks.
