I hate trying to write about bands when they themselves write so much better. For example, taken from their facebook.

Oceans of Insects sound is based in the Metal genre, but finds influences from a variety of styles. Stoner Rock, Alternative Pop, Ambient and Post Rock can all be heard in the music this band creates. Oceans of Insects plays the music they want to hear, refusing to be concerned of what may be expected of them.
